National adoption

As of 23/11/2018, the following persons are included in the list of citizens of the Republic of Lithuania whose permanent place of residence is in the Republic of Lithuania who wish to adopt (except for persons wishing to adopt a spouse’s child or relatives of the child):

• Citizens of the Republic of Lithuania with permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania;
• Spouses, one of whom is a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania and the other of whom is a citizen of a foreign country and has his/her permanent place of residence is in the Republic of Lithuania.
